Hedge Fund Manager Banned For Massaging Figures

The London Evening Standard reports that Simon Treacher, an emerging markets hedge fund manager who worked at BlueBay Asset Management, has been banned from working in the industry by UK securities regulator The Financial Services Authority, after been found to have amended the figures provided by third party brokerage firms to increase the value of the funds under his management.
