TheCityGraduate is a young aspiring City boy on an epic quest to land a highly paid front office job in an investment bank. He is currently working as an intern on the trading floor of a European bank and will soon graduate. In his free time, he spends his hard-earned intern salary on fancy dinners and lavish nights out, and is always on the hunt for a suit with the perfect fit.
Nowadays for students, the main route into the City is via internships. Hence, I find myself alongside my peers, scattered around London’s banks paying our dues as interns. But make no mistake. There is a significant difference in types of interns.
