Pep Guardiola’s Premier League champions Manchester City will have a new striker for 2020 with Serbian Tedic pictured at The Etihad.

Slobodan Tedic will be a Manchester City player from January 2020 with FC Cukaricki’s sporting director confirming via Instagram that a deal has been agreed.
The Premier League champions are always on the lookout for the world’s most exciting young talent and after landing Girona wonderkid Pedro Porro, Croatian playmaker Ante Palaversa and Dutch defender Philippe Sandler, Tedic is set to follow in their footsteps.
The 19-year-old striker has enjoyed a brilliant start of the 2019/20 season, scoring four times in nine games for Serbian SuperLiga outfit Cukaricki.
And the Hill Men’s sporting director Nenad Mirosavljevic has now admitted that an agreement has been reached with Manchester City with Tedic set to move to England’s North West at the start of next year.
“We have reached an agreement with one of the world’s best clubs,” he said. “For Tedic, but for all of us who work at the club, this is a big deal.
“When one such club as the English champions finds a player of interest to us and hires him, it means only one thing – that we are on the right track.”
The chances are that Tedic will be farmed out on loan, possibly even to Cukaricki, for at least a year or two before Manchester City come to a decision about whether he is capable of challenging Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus for a place in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Even if Tedic doesn’t make the grade, City will expect to make a profit like they did when selling Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid or Rabbi Matondo to Schalke.
