Liverpool won against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park to maintain pressure on Manchester City.

Rodney Marsh has praised Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Twitter for the way he managed the game against Newcastle United, but he has predicted the Reds to finish behind Manchester City in the Premier League this season.
Liverpool got the better of Newcastle 3-2 away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
It was a very entertaining game in which the Reds scored the winner as late as the 86th minute.
The result means that Liverpool are now two points clear of defending champions City, who are currently second in the standings and have a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola’s side will face Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium in the league on Monday evening.
Former City forward Marsh was following the match on Friday evening, and he has praised Klopp on Twitter for the way he managed the game against Newcastle.
Marsh has also predicted Liverpool to finish second, and believes that the Reds will be the best runners-up in Premier League history.
