Liverpool’s Premier League starlet Marko Grujic is reportedly a target for La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

Liverpool have put a £35 million price-tag on Marko Grujic with Atletico Madrid eyeing a permanent move for the Serbia star, according to ESPN.
Grujic became Jurgen Klopp’s first signing at Anfield when he arrived from Red Star Belgrade in January 2016 but he struggled to force his way into the Reds’ first-team, instead spending time on loan at Cardiff City and Hertha Berlin.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding spell in the Bundesliga with Hertha, however, and his eye-catching form has apparently caught the eye of Diego Simeone’s La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
But Liverpool want at least £35 million for a player who had been compared to Paul Pogba for his mix of technique and power, a fee that would see them earn a £30 million profit on a player who has featured in just eight Premier League games.

Interestingly, Manchester City could play a key role in Grujic’s future. ESPN adds that Atletico will move for the youngster if Spanish international Rodri leaves the Wanda Metropolitano for the Premier League champions.
City are willing to break their transfer record for Rodri and trigger his £60 million release clause.
