Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals this season.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has told the club’s official Twitter page that he respects Tottenham Hotspur a lot.
Tottenham will take on Premier League rivals City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season.
The first leg will be held in London, while the second leg of the tie will be held at the Etihad Stadium.
City manager Guardiola has given his take on the draw and has spoken highly of Tottenham.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has also praised Tottenham attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen for his set-piece quality.
The 27-year-old – who is on the radar of Spanish and European giants Real Madrid, according to The Daily Mail – is one of the best and most creative players in Europe and is brilliant on free kicks.
While explaining the threat posed by Tottenham, Guardiola said in his press conference on Monday, as show on Sky Sports News on Friday afternoon (1:38pm, March 15, 2019): “The quality of Eriksen, how good they are behind the set-pieces, Eriksen, he is an incredible taker.”

Manchester City favourites?
Tottenham were superb against Borussia Dortmund in the last-16 stage, and the way they got the better of the Bundesliga outfit was brilliant.
City absolutely hammered Schalke in the last round, and given the quality of players they have and manager Guardiola’s extensive experience, they will be favourites.
