The Serbia striker plays for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Benfica and is proving a sensation in the Bundesliga.

Eintracht Frankfurt loanee Luka Jovic has reportedly been on the radar of a number of Premier League teams for a while now, with Italian outlet Calciomercato claiming late last year that Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea were keeping an eye on the 21-year-old.
The Chronicle, meanwhile, reported that Newcastle United were keen to bring Jovic to St James’ Park in the summer, having scouted him extensively this season, while Crystal Palace were also reported to be interested in the Benfica-owned ace, according to Sky Sports News.
Despite not playing for one of the Bundesliga’s traditional title-chasers, Jovic has been sensational for Eintracht this season, bagging 21 goals and seven assists in 31 games in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
Now, according to Goal.com, reigning Premier League champions Manchester City have reportedly thrown their name in the hat for Jovic’s signature, with a view to bolstering their attacking ranks this summer.

Frankfurt have an option to make Jovic’s loan permanent at the end of the season (Transfermarkt) and Goal.com adds that the German side intend to trigger a 6 million Euro (around £5.3million) clause in that contract and are likely to then sell him at the end of the season for 60 million Euros (around £52million).
Jovic, a Serbia international who can operate as both a number 10 and number 9, has scored 15 Bundesliga goals this season, two more than Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, who is second in the league’s golden boot standings.
