The Liverpool midfielder received criticism for his display against Manchester City last night.

Liverpool were beaten 2-1 by Manchester City last night, and one player in particular seemed to receive a lot of criticism from Reds fans on Twitter.
The Reds’ defeat to City last night would have been a bitter pill to swallow for Klopp and his team, but they still sit comfortably at the top of the Premier League table, four points clear of Pep Guardiola’s men.
Jordan Henderson skippered Jürgen Klopp’s side last night, but he failed to shine, opting to play it safe for the entire of the game with sideways and backwards passes.
The 28-year-old joined the Merseyside outfit from Sunderland in the summer of 2011, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £16 million, and he has gone on to make 303 appearances in all competitions.

Henderson seems to always be the target for criticism when Liverpool lose a game, but he has little defence for his performance last night.
Some Liverpool fans took to Twitter, and made their feelings on the England international very clear…
