Glasgow Rangers striker could be banned from featuring this weekend.

Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty’s withdrawal from the Northern Ireland international squad continues to make waves.
The Rangers forward could face a one game club ban, report the Daily Record.
Ireland are reportedly set to report Lafferty to FIFA to invoke a rule to ban him from playing for Rangers.
If a country believes a player’s reason for declaring unavailability for international duty is not genuine, they are permitted to request an injunction to prevent him playing for his club for five days following the end of the international break.

This is a rarely used sanction, but in this case it is claimed to be one Northern Ireland are determined to pursue, such is the strength of feeling within the FA against the Rangers forward.
Lafferty withdrew from the squad citing an Achilles injury.
If the ban is implemented, Lafferty would not be eligible to play for Rangers against Hamilton this coming weekend.
Teammate Alfredo Morelos was not involved for Colombia and is expected to the lead the line.
