Sunderland forward Josh Maja is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.

Sunderland striker Josh Maja has been starring in front of goal this season – but his exploits now appear to be sparking major interest in his signature.
The Black Cats gave a key role to Maja after relegation to League One, and the teenager has responded in emphatic style.
The 19-year-old has hit nine goals in just 12 league games this season, including four in his last four as he continues to star under Jack Ross.
Maja is thriving as Sunderland’s main striker this season, but there is a problem for the Black Cats; his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
Sunderland will no doubt be doing everything to convince the former Fulham youngster to stay at the Stadium of Light, but new rumours have brought his future into doubt.
The Mirror report that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to bring Maja back to London next summer, with Manchester City and Southampton also thought to be interested.

Compensation would be required to lure him away from Wearside, and Sunderland fans have now taken to Twitter to share their concern about the rumours.
Many are hoping that Maja doesn’t have his head turned, and are calling on the club – and the player – to sign a contract to stay, either to ensure Sunderland get fair value, or £75m depending on who you ask, for the striker or to become a legend with the club, with one fan hoping the new Sunderland regime don’t ‘muck around’ with the teen striker.
