Glasgow Rangers stormed to a fantastic win over the Scottish Premiership leaders at Ibrox on Sunday.

Daniel Candeias has told Rangers’ official website that he cannot put into words how the Gers supporters made him feel with their ovation as he was substituted during the 3-1 win over Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday, and suggested that the fans are helping make his spell with Rangers the best period of his career.
Candeias has always been one of the most popular members of the squad since his arrival last summer. His form has been slightly more underwhelming at the start of this season, but he responded superbly in midweek with a stunning assist against Rapid Vienna.
And he followed that up with another assist for Alfredo Morelos on Sunday as Steven Gerrard’s men became the first team to beat Hearts in the league this season. His brilliant performance led to the winger coming off in the final moments to a stunning reception.
And Candeias was full of praise for the Gers fans after the final whistle.

“This feeling is, I don’t have words to describe this moment,” he told the club’s official YouTube channel. “It’s fantastic. I’m very happy to play for these supporters, for Rangers. I think this is the best moment of my career.”
It is no surprise that the Rangers fans are not hesitating to laud Gerrard’s squad. The Gers may have some ground to make up in the league, but their performances at home are scintillating and their form in Europe has left them top of their Europa League group and in a fantastic position to potentially qualify for the knockout rounds.
And after a slightly underwhelming start to the campaign by his own standards, Candeias is clearly well on his way to becoming the latest star looking almost transformed by the Gerrard era.
