Leeds United came from behind to claim a dramatic point in their latest Championship game.

Victor Orta may have spent much of his Leeds spell until this summer being deemed as something of a villain, but the Elland Road faithful undoubtedly view the Spaniard in a much more positive light this season – and his popularity may increase further after his incredible reaction to Pontus Jansson’s equaliser against Brentford.
It was a very difficult afternoon for Leeds. The high-flyers were not at their best for much of the contest and seemed to be sparked into life by a very controversial penalty decision in the early stages of the second-half.
Ollie Watkins won a spot-kick despite the forward appearing to head towards the ground before there was any contact with goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. That decision, and a very questionable referee performance in general, appeared to be exactly what the home side needed as they largely dominated the latter stages of the game.
And Leeds got the late equaliser as Jansson’s header found the back of the net in the final moments to ensure that the points would be shared.

It turned into an electric atmosphere inside Elland Road as Leeds chased an equaliser, and the relief when Jansson’s header went in was clear. And perhaps it was Orta’s remarkable reaction that summed up the mood in the ground perfectly.
The director of football cannot hide his emotions in the slightest as he grabs Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani and seemingly has to be somewhat restrained afterwards.
