Rangers midfielder Ovie Ejaria
Ejaria, who joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, was in action for the Gers against Vienna at Ibrox in the Europa League Group G on Thursday evening.
The 20-year-old midfielder – who earns £104,000 per year as salary, according to Spotrac.com – started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Former Celtic star McDonald, who won the Scottish league title with the Hoops in 2008, was impressed with the performance of Ejaria and praised the youngster.
McDonald said about Ejaria on BT Sport 3 on Thursday evening (9:56pm, October 4, 2018): “I really thought Ejaria was excellent as well. Quick feet. He had that quality to cut them open, just at times when it looked it was getting a bit sticky. He really impressed me tonight.”

Promising talent
Ejaria is a very talented and promising young midfielder who played well for Rangers against Vienna on Thursday evening.
While the displays produced by the 20-year-old in the Scottish Premiership have not been great, the youngster can only improve and develop under Rangers boss Gerrard in the coming weeks and months.
