Rangers striker Morelos remains a source of criticism as his ill-discipline continues.

Davie Provan has claimed in his Scottish Sun column that Alfredo Morelos is “brainless” and reckons his ill-discipline, which sees him banned for the Scottish Cup semi-final, is simply “idiotic”.
Morelos, 22, has already been shown five yellow cards and two reds in just 17 league and cup appearances this season, his latest booking during the 4-0 win over Ayr sees him banned for Rangers’ semi-final against Aberdeen.
The Colombia international already missed Rangers’ first Europa League group stage match against Spanish giants Villarreal due to a petulant sending off that saw him receive two yellow cards within a minute.
Former Celtic midfielder Provan chose to slam the former HJK Helsinki striker for his lack of discipline, claiming he is now Rangers’ biggest liability.
“Steven Gerrard can give Alfredo Morelos hours of coaching but he can’t give him brains,” Provan said. “Morelos’ red card on the opening day at Pittodrie was idiotic. He followed that with another red against Ufa that cost Gerrard his striker for the Europa League game in Villarreal.
“In midweek, a needless booking for dissent put him out of the Betfred Cup semi-final against Aberdeen, when they are already without Kyle Lafferty. Gers’ most saleable asset is quickly becoming their biggest liability.”

Morelos failed to find the back of the net on Sunday as Rangers suffered a second defeat under Gerrard since the Liverpool legend replaced Graeme Murty as manager at Ibrox.
Rangers are next in action on Thursday night in the Europa League as they play host to Rapid Vienna in Group G of the competition – a match that Morelos is indeed available for.
