Jak Alnwick left Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on loan this past summer.

It looks like Rangers-owned goalkeeper Jak Alnwick is making quite an impression down South.
The 25-year-old left Rangers to join Scunthorpe United on a season-long loan back in August and it looks like a smart decision.
Alnwick, who joined the Gers under Pedro Caixinha from Port Vale in 2017, was named in the EFL Team of the Week last time around following his performance in United’s win over Shrewsbury.
And it looks like the English keeper might just make it again this week, after dazzling in Saturday’s 0-0 draw away to Burton Albion.
Alnwick made a number of top-class saves – including one at the very end – and here’s how some Scunthorpe fans reacted to his performance:
Leaving Rangers was the smart choice for Alnwick. He was Steven Gerrard’s third-choice keeper after Allan McGregor and Wes Foderingham, so game time would’ve been severely limited.
But it looks like he’s enjoying his football again after a low-profile few years and it’ll be interesting to see if he returns to Ibrox next summer.
