Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has confirmed that he wants Nottingham Forest’s Joe Worrall on a permanent basis.

Nottingham Forest fans have brushed aside suggestions from Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard that he wants to sign Joe Worrall permanently.
Rangers have signed Worrall on loan for the season, and the centre-back has made a promising start at Ibrox.
Gerrard threw the youngster in at the deep end, as he was selected to make his full debut for Rangers against Villarreal in the Europa League.
The prospect coped well with the challenge though, as Rangers picked up a 2-2 draw in Spain.
Gerrard has now stated that he would like to sign Worrall for Rangers on a permanent deal, as covered by the Nottingham Post.
However, Forest fans simply don’t think that Rangers have the money to buy the centre-back, so they are not too concerned by the comments.
Worrall looks as if he could have an important role to play at Rangers over the upcoming campaign.
The youngster could get another taste of first-team life in midweek, when Gerrard’s side take on Ayr.
