West Ham United beat Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park today.
The Hammers came into the game having lost each of their four league games under new boss Manuel Pellegrini, with many expecting a response after the international break.
That's exactly what the travelling Hammers fans got, as they blew Everton aside, starting with Marko Arnautovic breaking clear before squaring for Andriy Yarmolenko to smash home the opener from close range.
Uncharacteristically poor distribution from Everton stopper Jordan Pickford saw Yarmolenko gain possession down the right, and he cut inside to curl home a stunning second for the Hammers.
Gylfi Sigurdsson did pull one back before the break, but West Ham rode the storm and managed to kill the game off when Pedro Obiang found Arnautovic, who converted to make it 3-1.
With a goal and an assist as well as plenty of great link-up play throughout, Arnautovic was virtually unplayable for West Ham, giving Mason Holgate the runaround at Goodison Park.
Some continue to question Arnautovic's attitude, and he hit back with his celebration against Everton, celebrating in front of Toffees fans by grabbing the West Ham badge on his shirt.
Arnautovic let his passion show with a heartfelt celebration, even heading over to the West Ham fans to throw up the 'Hammers' sign too before departing the game with an injury.
