Confirmed: Millwall v Leeds United lineups

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will face Millwall this afternoon, with Chelsea-owned Izzy Brown and Kemar Roofe sending messages to the Whites.

Leeds United will be looking to return to winning ways this afternoon when they take on Millwall away from home at The Den in the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will head into the match against Millwall on the back of a goalless draw with Middlesbrough at Elland Road in the league.

The West Yorkshire outfit are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 14 points from six matches, level on points with second-placed Middlesbrough.

 

Meanwhile, Millwall currently find themselves 16th in the league table with five points from six matches.

Neil Harris’s side will head into the match against Leeds on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Swansea City at home in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Izzy Brown - who can operate as an attacking midfielder, forward or winger - has sent a message to his Leeds teammates on social networking site Twitter ahead of the match.

The 21-year-old - who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com - joined Leeds on loan from Premier League club Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Leeds United ace Kemar Roofe has also sent a message on Twitter ahead of the match against Millwall.

The 25-year-old, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, is injured for this afternoon’s game.

Meanwhile, Leeds defender Barry Douglas is confident that his teammate and striker Patrick Bamford will come back stronger from his injury.

Douglas told LUTV about Bamford’s injury: “Patrick is a strong character and I am sure he will be back before we know it.”
