Rangers returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon, as Steven Gerrard’s side got the better of Dundee 4-0 at home.

Gerrard’s Rangers headed into the match against Dundee at Ibrox on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Old Firm derby in the league.

The Gers’ recent form in the Scottish Premiership had not been great, but Rangers did not have any problem in getting the better of Dundee.

Lassana Coulibaly, Ryan Kent, James Tavernier and Glenn Middleton were the goalscorer for Rangers.

Kenny Miller, who parted company with Rangers at the end of last season, was sent off for Dundee in the 79th minute.

Former Rangers star Peter Lovenkrands, who now works as a Reserve Team Coach at the Gers, was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.

Lovenkrands is pleased to see Middleton score for Rangers, while former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has described the performance of the Gers against Dundee at Ibrox as “impressive” on social networking site Twitter.
