Rangers duo Stephen Kelly and Matthew Shiels have signed new contracts with the Ibrox club, as announced on the Gers’ official website.
It has been announced on Rangers’ official website that Academy players Kelly and Shiels will stay at the Gers until 2021.
Kelly is 18 years of age and operates as a midfielder, while Shiels plays as a full-back and is also 18 years old.
Rangers Reserve Team Coach Peter Lovenkrands has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at the teenagers earning new deals with the Gers.
Lovenkrands, a former Denmark international attacker, was on the books of Rangers from 2000 until 2006.

Promising youngsters
Kelly and Shiels are very talented and promising young players who do have a bright future at Rangers.
While it is hard to see the midfielder and the full-back establish themselves in the Rangers first team soon, if they progress well, then they could get some chances in the next couple of years.
