Windass was asked where he expects Rangers to finish in the league this season.

Josh Windass has told Rangers fans on Instagram that his former club will finish second in the Scottish Premiership and believes Ryan Jack and Lee Wallace are the club’s best players.
Steven Gerrard has improved Rangers since taking over at Ibrox, improving them defensively thanks mainly to the signings of Allan McGregor, Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic.
It has seen the Gers qualify for the group stages of the Europa League, but Gerrard has also seen Rangers make their worst start to a Scottish Premiership season in 29 years – sitting on five points after four games.
Windass, who left Rangers to join English Championship side Wigan for £2.5million, reckons Rangers will finish second and claimed Ryan Jack and somewhat surprisingly Lee Wallace are the club’s best two players he played alongside – other than Niko Kranjcar.

Left-back Wallace is deemed surplus to requirements at Ibrox after being omitted from the Europa League squad to take on Villarreal, Rapid Wien and Spartak Moscow.
The Gers are next in action against Dundee on Saturday at Ibrox against Neil McCann’s struggling side, and are expected to pick up just their second league win of the season with The Dee suffering four defeats from four in the league.
