Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen commits future to Belgium.

Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Jan Vertonghen has ruled out retiring from international football.
Vertonghen was quizzed on his thoughts about continuing to play for his country after their 3-0 victory over Iceland.
The Spurs defender is the most capped player in the current squad and is determined to keep adding to his appearances.
Speaking to Nieuwsblad, Vertonghen said he understands why some players may decide to focus on club football, but he was keen to to do both.

Vertonghen said: “I understand that it is tempting to think so, because playing continually can be physically demanding.
“But I do not really believe in it.
“Other guys might have thought about stopping and watching before the World Cup: no one has left. If the atmosphere is the way it is now, that does not happen.”
It certainly does not hurt that Belgium are so good at the moment, finishing third at the World Cup.
They will be among the favourites to go a step further and win Euro 2020 and Vertonghen does not want to give that opportunity up.
