Lafferty has impressed since returning to Rangers from Hearts.

BBC Sport have reported that Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty missed Monday’s training session with Northern Ireland as “a precaution” after seemingly picking up a knock while on international duty.
Lafferty, 30, was called up to the Northern Ireland squad and made his 68th appearances for Michael O’Neill’s side in the 2-1 loss to Bosnia & Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League.
It is unclear what is troubling the former Hearts, Norwich City and Palermo striker in order to prevent him from training on Monday, but any concerns have been played down with it only being a precaution.
He is still expected to feature for Northern Ireland on Tuesday night, as O’Neill’s men host Israel at Windsor Park in a friendly before players return to their clubs.

Since returning to Ibrox, Lafferty has made four appearances for Rangers and scored a brace against Motherwell in the 3-3 draw – but he failed to make an impact in the first Old Firm derby of the season.
Rangers are next in action against Dundee on Saturday and are expected to win at Ibrox with Neil McCann’s side losing all four Scottish Premiership matches so far. Steven Gerrard will be hoping Lafferty is fit.
