Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers reportedly wanted Rolando Aarons during the summer transfer window.

Glasgow Rangers must have a great chance of landing Rolando Aarons from Newcastle United, if they still want him, after his loan spell expires.
Steven Gerrard’s side were unable to get a deal over the line for the talented youngster, but if Rangers did come back in for him, then surely the transfer would look appealing for everyone involved.
Aarons went on a six month loan spell to the Czech Republic last week, which shows just how desperate he is for game time.
Rafael Benitez has seemingly deemed Aarons to be surplus to requirements, and if Rangers do come back in for him, a permanent move to Ibrox could be a relief.
At Rangers, Aarons could surely further strengthen Steven Gerrard’s attacking options and his loan spell may just give him enough time to put him back on Rangers’ radar.

If Aarons is a success in the Czech Republic he could yet return to prominence, and convince Gerrard that he is still worth signing.
And if the Ibrox side do still have an interest in the flying winger then they would be wise to make a move when his loan spell expires, as they could have a clear run to sign him up.
