Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are reportedly about to sign Gareth McAuley.

According to BBC Sport, Rangers are set to sign Gareth McAuley on a free transfer.
The 38-year-old defender, who turns 39 in December, is available on a Bosman after his contract with West Bromwich Albion expired this past summer.
And BBC Sport have reported that Steven Gerrard will make McAuley his 15th signing at Rangers shortly.
If and when it happens, the Northern Ireland international, who has 79 caps for his country, will add further depth to the Gers’ defence.
Gerrard signed Joe Worrall on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest in midweek, having already added Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic to his ranks earlier in the summer.
Goldson and Katic are the 38-year-old’s first-choice partnership in defence, but Rangers, who qualified for the Europa League group stages on Thursday, have a lot of games this season and defensive cover is vital to ensuring that the Ibrox side can cope with the schedule.
McAuley joined West Brom in 2011 after a three-year spell with Ipswich.
