Rangers take on Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Rangers starting line-up: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Barisic, Flanagan; Jack, Halliday, Ejaria; Morelos, Lafferty.
Rangers substitutes: Foderingham, Kent, Wallace, Arfield, Middleton, Sadiq, Candeias.
Rangers will be looking to continue their fine start to life under Steven Gerrard this afternoon as they travel to take on Motherwell at Fir Park.
The Gers beat FC Ufa 1-0 in the Europa League qualifiers on Thursday night, but now it’s back to league action for Gerrard’s side after four points from two games in the Scottish Premiership.
Allan McGregor again starts in goal today, but it’s all change in front of him, as whilst Gerrard has stuck to a 4-3-3 for much of his reign, it appears to be a 3-5-2 today.
Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic are seemingly joined by either Borna Barisic or Jon Flanagan at centre back, with James Tavernier and either Barisic or Flanagan in the wing back spots.
Andy Halliday returns to the side and joins Ryan Jack in midfield, with Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria potentially given more license to get forward after starring against Ufa.
Alfredo Morelos continues up front, whilst new signing Kyle Lafferty makes his second debut for the club alongside the Colombian having completed his move from Hearts just days ago.
There is plenty of attacking quality on the bench for Gerrard, with Ryan Kent, Glenn Middleton, Daniel Candeias and Umar Sadiq all named as substitutes, alongside Wes Foderingham, Lee Wallace and Scott Arfield.
