Myles Beerman will reportedly spent this season at Birkirkara on loan from Scottish Premiership powerhouses Rangers.

Myles Beerman has three caps for Malta and it looks like he will be playing his club football on the Mediterranean island too.
According to the Times of Malta, an agreement is in place for Rangers to send the 19-year-old on loan to Birkirkara after being told by manager Steven Gerrard that he is no longer part of his plans.
Some Rangers fans might be disappointed to see Beerman depart on loan, especially given that he looked a bright prospect when given his chance by Pedro Caixinha during the end of the 2016/17 season.
But Rangers have reinforced at left-back since Gerrard took over, bringing in Jon Flanagan from Liverpool and the impressive Croatia international Borna Barisic from Osijek. Beerman, therefore, would have struggled for opportunities and would be better off playing regular first-team football elsewhere.

Gerrard has shown a ruthless streak in the transfer market, getting rid of the likes of Fabio Cardoso, Bruno Alves and Harry Forrester.
But he has made the right call in only letting Beerman leave on a temporary basis. The former Manchester City youngster, who only signed a new deal in May, has plenty of time to improve at the age of just 19 and should have a long term future at Ibrox should he live up to his potential.
Beerman to Birkirkara could be a decision that suits all parties.
