Rangers could be without Jamie Murphy for a while so how about raiding Scottish Premiership outfit Kilmarnock for Jordan Jones?

Jamie Murphy appeared to suffer a serious injury in Rangers’ 3-1 win against Kilmarnock in the Scottish League Cup at the weekend. But in the eyes of Rangers fans, the Ibrox giants should not have to look too far for a replacement.
Jordan Jones was once again electric on the wing for Killie. It was his cross which forced an own goal from Borna Barisic while James Tavernier, arguably the best right-back in the whole of Scotland, was given a real headache and not for the first time by the Northern Ireland international.

Fortunately for the Jones fanatics, it seems that Rangers’ decision makers are also very big fans of the Middlesbrough-born wideman.
Because the Express claims that Rangers could rekindle their interest in the 23-year-old, having made a rather derisory bid of £350,000 in the January transfer window, as reported by the Daily Record.
Murphy, a summer signing from Brighton, will be a big loss after starting the season in impressive style. And Rangers really should wait to see how long he will be on the sidelines for before they go and press ahead with signing a replacement. One might not be needed after all.

But in the eyes of Rangers fans, Jones is certainly up for the task.
