Steven Gerrard suggests further additions will happen at Glasgow Rangers

Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are trying to bring in more players, with Steven Gerrard wanting to add further quality to his squad.

Steven Gerrard has suggested that the Daily Star that further additions are likely at Glasgow Rangers.

Gerrard’s Rangers have already been busy this summer, bringing a host of new players to Ibrox.

However, Rangers are not done in the transfer window yet, and Gerrard’s latest comments would suggest that he has confidence about more signings arriving in the coming weeks.

He said: “I believe that we will improve the squad with more personnel.

“The squad will become stronger and as a group we will continue to grow.

“I think what people need to understand is that when we’re at home and at Ibrox, we have a certain way of playing.”

Rangers have been heavily linked with Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty, and the Daily Star claim that he could arrive before the end of the month.

Lafferty appears to be the man closes to making a move to Rangers, with the 30-year-old set to increase Gerrard’s forward options, if he does join.

Rangers getting even better is an exciting prospect for the Ibrox crowd, as Gerrard’s side have already looked strong this season.

The Light Blues are still unbeaten under Gerrard and progressed to the final round of qualifying for the Europa League last night.
