Rangers face Kilmarnock on Sunday in the Scottish League Cup.

Steven Gerrard must prepare his side for a quick turnaround ahead of Sunday’s Scottish League Cup clash against Kilmarnock, in what will be the Gers fourth match within a fortnight.
The Gers continued Gerrard’s unbeaten start to life as a Rangers manager, earning a place in the Europa League play-off round with a 0-0 draw against Maribor in Slovenia.
Their first-leg 3-1 win was enough to secure passage into the last round of qualifying, where they will face Russian side Ufa for a place in the group stages this season.
Gerrard is set to welcome back left-sided defender and new signing Borna Barisic into the side, after he was cup-tied for Thursday’s outing against Maribor. Jon Flanagan is also available, after being suspended.
Lassana Coulibaly is going for a scan to determine what could be an injury, meaning he is likely to miss Sunday’s clash as a precaution. Graham Dorrans, Lee Wallace and Jordan Rossiter remain sidelined.

Gerrard brought Ryan Kent on to the field of play against Maribor for Jamie Murphy, and the duo could link up on the flanks for Rangers. Gerrard also has a decision to start between the sticks, with McGregor starting all eight matches so far.
Here is how we think Rangers will line-up, making two changes from their draw against Maribor as Kent and 25-year-old Barisic replace Daniel Candeias and Andy Halliday.
