Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is reportedly keen on bringing the Liverpool hitman to Ibrox.

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp spoke to reporters today, and refused to be drawn on rumours linking reported Rangers target Dominic Solanke with a loan exit from Anfield before the end of the month, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
The 20-year-old has continuously been linked with a move to Rangers throughout the course of this summer, with the Scottish Sun claiming that Steven Gerrard is a huge fan of the big striker.
Solanke moved to Liverpool from Chelsea in the summer of 2017, but he has failed to establish himself at Anfield, scoring just one goal for the club.
That is not to say that he wouldn’t have a lot to offer at Rangers, however, and if Gerrard does manage to bring him to Ibrox, he would surely prove to be a fantastic coup for the football club.
Klopp, though, didn’t give much away, and responded when asked whether Solanke is close to joining Rangers, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo:

“It’s the first time I’ve heard about it now. So that says it’s not close to happening.”
The transfer window in Scotland does not close until August 31st, of course, so there is still plenty of time left for Gerrard to bring the Liverpool man to Glasgow.
Whether Klopp would be willing to let him go, though, remains to be seen.
