Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
Ian Wright suggested on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (8:54pm, August 13, 2018) that Steven Gerrard's Glasgow Rangers will not be able to catch Old Firm rivals Celtic this season.
Rangers are playing well at the moment, with new manager Steven Gerrard yet to suffer his first competitive defeat in charge of the Gers.
Celtic remain the strongest team in the Scottish Premiership, but the Glasgow giants are not having a great time.
Former Celtic striker Wright, though, does not think that Rangers can topple the Bhoys this season.
Wright said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (8:54pm, August 13, 2018) when asked if Rangers can topple Celtic: “No, no, no because Celtic are so way in front.”
Celtic remain the best team in Scotland, and it is hard to see Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title ahead of them.
However, it is clear that Rangers will give the Hoops a run for their money this campaign.
