Rangers are still looking to bring another defender to Ibrox this summer.

Rangers continued their promising start under Steven Gerrard on Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 home win over St Mirren – but Gerrard may still look for additions this month.
The Gers have shown real promise in the early stages of the season, with signings such as Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic already becoming key players under the Liverpool legend.
Yet having allowed Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso to leave, whilst David Bates and Russell Martin are no longer with the club, another centre back remains on the radar for depth.
The problem for Rangers is that a host of targets appear unlikely right now; Bournemouth look unlikely to loan out Jack Simpson, Millwall won’t sell Jake Cooper and Bolton are taking a similar stance over Mark Beevers.
Options appear to be running out for Gerrard, and that should mean Rangers return to take another look at signing Blackpool defender Curtis Tilt, who was linked with the Gers this summer.
The 27-year-old was wanted by Gerrard as well as Ipswich Town according to The Mirror, and with the English deadline passed, Rangers may be in a strong position to move for Tilt.

Ipswich could yet return with a loan to buy offer, but if Rangers can swoop in and offer the £1million Blackpool want, then that would put them in the box seat for a deal.
The former non-league defender has starred for a Blackpool side who look beleaguered after the resignation of manager Gary Bowyer, and a move to Ibrox should be hugely appealing for Tilt at this stage in his career.
With money to spend following the sale of Josh Windass to Wigan, Rangers may be in with a real shout of adding Tilt to Goldson and Katic – and Gerrard should be looking to return with a move for Tilt as the ideal defensive cover.
