Colback, who joined Forest on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Newcastle in the summer transfer window, featured for the Reds in their Championship game against Reading at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds won 1-0.
Colback played well for Forest against Reading and was one of the best players on the pitch.
The 28-year-old former Sunderland midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at Forest after joining the Reds from Newcastle in the January transfer window.
Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Colback against Reading at the City Ground in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Below are some of the best comments:
I thought Colback was poor personally, he gave the ball away a lot for a player of his calibre. That said he still had some decent spells. However he nearly cost us a goal losing it in the middle second half.— NFFC (@REDSTU1986) August 12, 2018
Colback for me just gets on with the job in hand— Martin Fretwell (@FretwellMartin) August 12, 2018
So far he's been better than he was last season with us. Yet another great Karanka signing— Tom H (@TomFromNottm) August 11, 2018
Danny Fox was superb today, and deserved the MOM award, but Jack Colback wasn’t far behind, he was immense in midfield, we did very well to get him back this season #NFFC— Richard Jaques (@Rich_Jaques) August 11, 2018
Nearly a perfect holding midfielder display, couple of small mistakes that’s all— flint (@flintski68) August 11, 2018
Colback woked his socks off for me today. Carvalho also looked rhe real deal. All in all a useful, grinded out 3pts. Credit to Reading, had a clear game plan to stiffle us but Soudani showed hunger off bench to win it #nffc— Lee Pearson (@leeroidepedro) August 11, 2018
