Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers brought Lassana Coulibaly to Ibrox on loan this summer.
Lassana Coulibaly at Rangers
Lassana Coulibaly has already been a huge hit at Rangers since his loan move from Angers to Ibrox in the summer transfer window, and it seems that the 22-year-old midfielder is open to staying at the Gers beyond next summer.
Coulibaly joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Angers this summer and has already established himself in manager Steven Gerrard’s team.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been one of the best players for Rangers so far this season, and Ibrox manager Gerrard recently suggested that he is open to signing the youngster on a permanent contract – as quoted by The Scottish Sun.
The Mali international midfielder has now seemed to have suggested that he is open to staying at Rangers beyond next summer when his current loan spell runs out.
Coulibaly told The Scottish Sun: “I don’t know what will happen in the future, but I’m here for one season.
“I’ll give my best to help the team and for the team. After the season has finished we will see what happens.”

Good for Rangers
It is clear that for now Coulibaly is thinking about succeeding with Rangers this season, but his aforementioned comments do suggest that the midfielder is open to staying at Ibrox beyond next summer.
That will only be great for Rangers, given how the midfielder has performed for the Gers so far this season.
