Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers brought Borna Barisic to Ibrox.

Barisic has joined Rangers from NK Osijek in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £2.2 million.
The Croatia international played against Rangers at Ibrox with Osijek just days before making the move to the Gers.
The 25-year-old left-back has shared his impression of Rangers fans and seems to rate them highly.
Barisic is also hopeful that he can feature for Rangers against St. Mirren at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership today.
“We will see if I play on Sunday, I hope that I will run out at Ibrox this weekend because it is a top atmosphere,” Barisic told Rangers’ official website.
“I felt the atmosphere when I played here with Osijek, the fans are really positive; they are crazy and I like that.”
Barisic added: “When I came here I got a lot of messages and I would like to thank all the fans for the kind words.
“Now I need to give back to them on the pitch but for me most importantly I want to play very good football in every game and then that will make them happy.”

Good signing for Rangers
Barisic is a very good and established left-back who is going to be an asset for Rangers this summer.
The left-back is very good both in attack and in defence, and one should not be surprised if the Croatia international establishes himself in manager Steven Gerrard’s team as the season progress.
