Everton forward Theo Walcott has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement at the start of the new season.

The Toffees will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at the Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Walcott - who earns £110,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com - is looking forward to the match against Wolves.

Everton and Wolves fans have responded to the message from the 29-year-old England international forward, who joined the Toffees from Arsenal in the January transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £20 million.

Entertaining game

Both Everton and Wolves have been quite busy in the summer transfer window, and with managers Marco Silva and Nuno playing good football, the match on Saturday promises to be hugely exciting and entertaining.

Playing at home will give Wolves an advantage, and one should not be surprised if the Wanderers do manage to pick up all three points against Everton and kick off their Premier League campaign with a bang.
