Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has revealed to The Yorkshire Evening Post the three clubs he and his teammates have been watching videos of.

Peacock-Farrell has revealed that he and his Leeds teammates have been watching videos of Manchester City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich in order to recreate their playing style.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “We've watched videos on Man City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Just the way they move, their one-twos and third man runs.

“We've watched a lot of that and we do set drills during the week just on those specific movements and crosses.

"It is very specific in terms of how he wants it to be done and where he wants it done on the pitch.

“Through the videos we can see that, visualise that and the best thing about it is watching these teams do it and then doing the same.”

Excitement for Leeds United fans

Leeds were brilliant to watch against Stoke City in their opening game of the Championship season last weekend.

The signs are certainly there for the Elland Road faithful regarding how good the team will play this season.

Peacock-Farrell’s aforementioned comments underline just what Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa is planning to do at the club.

Manchester City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich play some of their best football in Europe, and while Leeds do not have the quality of players they do, if the Whites are able to recreate their playing style, then they will be a joy to watch this season.

Leeds are aiming to win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.
