West Bromwich Albion are reportedly looking to nab defender Luke Ayling from Championship promotion contenders Leeds United this summer - and some Leeds fans have told the Baggies they have no chance.
The Sun claim West Brom are weighing up an offer of £5million for the impressive right-back, who has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet at Elland Road.
An impressive pre-season that saw him score goals against Forest Green Rovers and Southend United has higlighted just how important he is to the Leeds side, but it has also seemingly alerted Darren Moore's Baggies to his presence.
The report claims Leeds would receive a fee almost seven times the amount Leeds paid Bristol City for Ayling back in the summer of 2016. He moved to Elland Road for a figure in the region of £750,000.
West Brom are keen to land a right-back this summer and have reportedly had a bid rejected for Rangers captain James Tavernier, with Steven Gerrard's side only willing to sell him at the right price.
Some Leeds fans reacted to the news that West Brom were considering a move for Ayling, where former Leeds and Arsenal teammate and best pal Kyle Bartley has moved to this summer. The majority are desperate to keep Ayling.
