According to a report from the Mirror, Everton are interested in signing Chelsea's Kurt Zouma, but with Wolves rumoured to be in the look-out for a new centre-back, they should surely challenge the Merseyside outfit for the Frenchman's signature.
Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly keen to bring another top class central defender to Molineux this summer, with the Sun reporting that the Portuguese wants to sign Yerry MIna, but with a potential deal to sign the Colombian now seeming unlikely, Wolves might just have to look elsewhere.
And Zouma would be just the ticket for the Black Country outfit.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from St-Etienne in January 2014, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £12.5 million, but he has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Stamford Bridge.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Zouma is strong in the air, and he is also quick along the ground. At the age of 23, the Frenchman has reached a stage in his career where he needs to be playing regularly, and if Nuno could guarantee him that, he would surely flourish at Molineux.
Whether Wolves could convince Zouma to choose them over Everton is debatable, but Nuno is overseeing a wonderfully exciting project at Molineux, and the prospect of joining the Black Country outfit really is an attractive one these days.
