Fernandes has dropped down the West Ham pecking order.

West Ham are looking to bring another central midfielder to the London Stadium this summer, despite already completing the signing of Jack Wilshere from London rivals Arsenal.
Manuel Pellegrini has offloaded Cheikhou Kouyate to Crystal Palace, but the rise of Josh Cullen has perhaps pushed Swiss star Fernandes down the pecking order in east London and he is now reportedly set to leave.
Di Marzio claims 22-year-old Fernandes is close to joining Fiorentina on loan, who themselves have been after Spanish midfielder Pedro Obiang for much of the summer transfer window.

The deal is a loan-to-buy agreement, meaning West Ham could wave goodbye to Fernandes permanently next summer. West Ham will receive an initial fee of £800,000 now, with a £7.2million option included in the deal.
The 22-year-old has made 48 appearances for the Hammers since joining the club from Swiss side FC Sion in the summer of 2016, and has just two years remaining on his contract under Pellegrini.
