Chris Sutton has reacted to Rangers winning their appeal on Alfredo Morelos’ red card.

Rangers centre-forward Alfredo Morelos will be available for the club’s next league game against St Mirren at the weekend after seeing his red card reduced to a yellow by a Scottish FA fast-track tribunal.
The 22-year-old was sent off early into the league opener against Aberdeen on Sunday after kicking defender Scott McKenna off the ball, but the offence has now been downgraded to a yellow card.
Manager Steven Gerrard will have his main striker available at the weekend in the league, but first attention is on a Europa League third qualifying round tie at home to Maribor on Thursday night.
Pundit and ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton has mocked the decision by the appeals panel to overturn Morelos’ red card.
“When is a kick is not a kick… you’ve got to love the appeals panel!! At least they are consistent,” Sutton wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Morelos will be hoping to make the most of his let off by rediscovering his best form in a Rangers shirt over the coming weeks.
The Colombian has made a slow start to the new campaign at Ibrox, scoring just once in his five appearances.
He found the back of the net 18 times in the last season, but may have his work cut out to convince Gerrard he should be a regular starter.
