Northampton striker Kevin van Veen is a target for a number of League One and Dutch clubs before the close of the transfer window, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Van Veen only joined Northampton last January from Scunthorpe, but they are facing a battle to keep hold of the Dutchman following their relegation to League Two.
The 27-year-old was unable to help Northampton secure survival in League One, making ten appearances for the Cobblers in what was a disappointing overall season for the club.
Van Veen impressed at Scunthorpe prior to his move to Northampton scoring 23 goals in 116 appearances for the Iron during his spell at Glanford Park, including six in his last 11 games.

The skilful attacker is a proven player at League One level and now several third tier sides are ready to make a move for him before the transfer window closes.
A number of sides in Holland are also weighing up a move to bring the former PSV Eindhoven youngster back to his homeland.
Van Veen still has two years to run on his contract at Northampton and the League Two side will be looking to make back what they paid for him if January if they are to sell him.
