Theo Hernandez made just ten La Liga starts for Real Madrid last season and has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Fulham.

Last summer, Theo Hernandez became the first player to make that short trip across Madrid from Atletico to Real.
The £20 million man shone during a loan spell at Alavas in the 2016/17 campaign, helping Mauricio Pellegrino’s side reach the Copa del Rey final, and was seemingly signed to provide some much needed back-up to Marcelo on the left of Real’s defence.
Unfortunately, Marcelo remains as consistently brilliant as ever. As a result, Theo was restricted to just ten La Liga starts in his first season as a Real player.
So a loan move away from the Bernabau seems like a good idea. And, according to Marca, Premier League newcomers Fulham are willing to give him a platform to show why Real brought a swift end to the ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between the two Madrid giants.

It is reported that Fulham will pay £1.8 million to bring Theo to Craven Cottage for the season and are willing to pay all of his wages, which is something Real Sociedad, who are understood to be the youngster’s preferred destination, are not prepared to do.
The France U20 international, the younger brother of Atletico’s World Cup winner Lucas, could be seen as a cheaper alternative to Matt Targett, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham.
As reported by the Mail (live blog, 1.12pm), Southampton rejected a bid of £12 million from the Cottagers on Thursday.
