A number of Championship and League One clubs are chasing MK Dons star Chuks Aneke, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
MK Dons face a battle to keep hold of Aneke following their relegation from League One last season and the club are bracing themselves for offers before the transfer window shuts later this month.
Aneke finished as MK Dons’ top scorer last with 10 goals and 10 assists in 35 games in all competitions last term.
The 25-year-old has impressed at MK Dons since joining the club from Belgian side Zulte Waregem in the summer of 2016.
Aneke still ended up as top scorer last season despite missing periods of last term through injury and had he been fit he could have been the difference in staying up last season.
The former England Under-19 is entering the final year of his contract at MK Dons and Aneke’s suitors are ready to test MK Dons’ resolve to hang onto the atttacking midfielder.
Aneke began his career at Arsenal, making one first-team appearance during his time with the Gunners before moving to Belgium with Zutle Waregem.
