Goncalo Guedes appears to have been priced out of a return to Valencia, which opens the door for Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Any hopes Wolverhampton Wanderers fans had of seeing Goncalo Guedes join his Portugal international teammates Joao Moutinho and Rui Patricio in moving to Molineux this summer had looked slim.
Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sell the explosive winger this summer, but Cadena Ser had reported that Guedes had his heart set on a permanent move to Valencia after shining on loan at the Mestalla throughout 2017/18.
The 21-year-old scored five goals and assisted nine more as Valencia finished fourth, sealing a return to the Champions League under Marcelino Garcia Toral.
But latest reports from L’Equipe have given Wolves renewed hope that a deal could indeed be possible. It is reported that the big-spending Premier League newcomers are indeed interested in signing the former Benfica starlet, who counts Jorge Mendes as his agent.

And, in what could be a huge boost, L’Equipe adds that Valencia simply cannot afford the fee PSG are demanding for Guedes, which is reported to be around £53 million. Los Che only want to pay £35 million, which could rule them out altogether.
Obviously, £53 million would make Guedes comfortably the most expensive player in Wolves’ history. But, with billionaire Chinese owners at the helm, is a record-breaking move to Molineux a possibility?
