Both Newcastle United and Fulham are said to want to strengthen their left-back options.

Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico is being chased by Newcastle United and Fulham, according to the Sun.
The newspaper reports that Tagliafico caught the pair’s eye while playing for Argentina at this summer’s World Cup.
And despite having only joined Ajax from Independiente in January, it is claimed the 25-year-old is available for a cut-price £8 million this summer.
That is said to have alerted Newcastle and Fulham, who are both in the market for left-backs before next Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Tagliafico, who can also play at centre-half, is looking to take the next step in his career by moving to one of Europe’s elite leagues, according to the Sun.

But Newcastle and Fulham aren’t the only clubs being credited with interest, with the newspaper also listing VFL Wolfsburg and Schalke 04 as suitors.
Despite having only played eight times for the country of his birth, Tagliafico should be free to move to England as a result of his dual Argentine-Italian nationality [Transfermarkt].
Would Tagliafico be a good addition for Newcastle / Fulham?
