Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the Ibrox club with a move for Kyle Lafferty of Heart of Midlothian.

According to BBC Sport, Ibrox club Rangers are interested in signing Lafferty from Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Gers made a bid of £200,000 for the former Rangers striker, but Hearts are claimed to have turned it down.

Lafferty was on the books of Rangers from 2008 until 2012 and was quite successful during his time at Ibrox.

The Northern Ireland international striker played well for Hearts last season, as the former Norwich City man scored 19 goals in 44 games, as reported by BBC Sport.
