Is Jonny Hayes finished at Celtic if and when they sign Daniel Arzani?

According to The Record, Celtic are close to signing Daniel Arzani on a two-year loan.

The 19-year-old Australia international will join Manchester City from Melbourne City for around £280,000 and then sign for Celtic immediately, the Scottish publication claims.

If and when that happens, Brendan Rodgers will have yet another wide option and Jonny Hayes's future at Parkhead would therefore look pretty bleak.

The Irish winger missed the Hoops' entire second half of the season after breaking his leg in December.

But Hayes revealed via Instagram last month that he is fit again and yet Rodgers hasn't included him in any of Celtic's three Champions League qualifiers this summer.

At the moment, Rodgers has Scott Sinclair, James Forrest, Ryan Christie and Lewis Morgan, so if Arzani is added to that list then where does it leave Hayes?

The former Aberdeen star joined the Parkhead club for £1.3 million last summer but only managed one goal and one assist from 16 games in all competitions prior to his injury.

Even before the setback, Hayes's Celtic career looked in jeopardy, but if Arzani comes then surely he is done.
