Leeds United may have lost 4-3 against Oxford United on Tuesday, but at least one Whites player can hold his head high in the eyes of some fans.

Tyler Roberts arrived at Leeds from West Bromwich Albion in January, although injury forced him out of the remainder of the campaign.

It wasn't until Saturday's pre-season draw with Southend United that Roberts finally appeared in Whites colours.

And it took less than 10 minutes of the 19-year-old's second outing for his first goal to arrive - a Thierry Henry-esque side-foot from just inside the box which nestled in the top corner.

Jon Obika restored the hosts' three-goal advantage shortly after Roberts' striker, before Lewis Baker and Jack Clarke reduced Leeds' embarrassment.
